Meet Dr. Devante Josephs, DDS
Dr. Devante Josephs brings a rare blend of expertise, warmth, and compassion to every patient interaction. Originally from the Bronx, New York, Dr. Josephs was always fascinated by science and driven to succeed academically. After graduating as valedictorian of his middle school and salutatorian of his high school, he pursued his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University in Long Island. From there, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at NYU College of Dentistry — one of the country’s most prestigious programs.
Dr. Josephs discovered his passion for dentistry early, shadowing a local dentist in his community. That experience opened his eyes to how meaningful dental care could be. Today, he loves the autonomy and creativity that dentistry allows — especially the chance to improve a patient’s smile and confidence in just one visit.
In the operatory, Dr. Josephs is known for his calm demeanor, conservative approach, and ability to explain treatment clearly. Whether performing a crown or restoring a dental implant, he’s dedicated to doing the job right the first time — always prioritizing comfort, precision, and lasting results.
Outside the office, Dr. Josephs is a foodie who loves discovering new restaurants with his wife. They share their home with their dog named Bruno and enjoy watching good movies and TV together. His down-to-earth nature and genuine care for others shine through in every part of the practice.
With a strong foundation in restorative dentistry and a growing patient base, Dr. Josephs is excited to lead Josephs Family Dentistry into its next chapter — one where patients feel safe, respected, and truly cared for.
